Name and time server
Service description
In addition to the Domain Name System (DNS), which is responsible for responding to name resolution requests on the HHU network, ZIM operates an NTP timeserver that obtains its time from several local radio clocks in order to have an accurate time available on the data network.
The service is available to all employees and the institutes and facilities of HHU for official purposes.
